The project involved the provision of perimeter access scaffolding to enable the removal and replacement of the roof. Associated stair and loading towers were also provided.
A Hakitec 750 roof was built over the whole building to offer temporary weather protection during the progress of the builder’s work.
A clear span of 33m was achieved. The significant span was built from one static position and the 30m length of roof rolled into position as it was constructed, using Haki Rolling track.
Due to the length of the roofing materials, it was not practical to load them onto a loading bay, from the ground.
The solution, due to the practicality of the Haki roofing system, sections of the roof were removed to enable roofing materials to be craned directly onto the roof. On completion of the loading, the roof was closed back in.
