Magnum is committed to the continued development of the knowledge and skills of all individuals within the organisation, evidenced by the achievement of the IIP Silver Award.
Continued training and development of individuals in our business supports the creation of a positive health and safety culture, ensuring our customers have a competent scaffolding team on their sites delivering a professional and safe scaffolding service.
Two of our apprentices have recently attended the National Construction College and successfully completed part 1A of the CITB Scaffolding Course.
Other members of the team have recently successfully completed the following training:
Counterbalance Forklift and Lorry Mounted Crane (Hiab) refresher, Slinger/Signaller (also known as Banksman)
Harness and Lanyard Inspections.
An employee is soon completing the RTITB Instructor Training, which will allow certified training, development and assessment to continue to be delivered in Counterbalance Forklift, Slinger Signaller and Hiab Crane, in-house.
Over the next few months Magnum staff are booked for the following training:
2-day CPD Scaffolding refreshers.
RTITB Instructor
SSSTS Refreshers.
Part 1B of the CITB Scaffolding Courses.
EFAW refresher.
All training is planned and identified within the detailed training plan in support of the annual Business Plan and company objectives.
