Magnum have invested in equipment that offers significant safety and efficiency benefits to customers.

The majority of Scaffolding Contractors predominantly use traditional Tube, Fittings and Boards to build scaffolding, independents, Towers, Birdcages and Temporary Roofs.

To improve efficiency and safety, Magnum have invested and where practically possible, use Proprietary Scaffolding equipment and systems to build scaffolding.

Due to their commitment to the highest standards of safety, Magnum has made substantial investment in proprietary scaffolding equipment and is able to achieve increased levels of Safety and efficiency to the benefit of both their employees and scaffolding end users.

Van Thiel Scaffolding Equipment

  • Full compliance with the 2005 Work at Height Regulations
  • Ledger bracing may be omitted.

Temporary Roof Systems

Magnum erect temporary roofs using the Haki 750 roll out method where the whole roof structure is built progressively and then moved into position on a track way, the scaffolding team always build the roof from a safe place of work. All materials are mechanically hoisted to height to reduce manual handling. Can you afford to employ a company that works to less safe working methods?

Proprietary Stair Towers

Magnum stock both Layher and Haki Stair Tower equipment.

Using standard proprietary components, unique proprietary stair towers are the safe solution to meeting working at height regulations.

With all steel construction, stair towers are robust enough for even the toughest jobs.

Proprietary Loading Towers

Magnum stock both Haki and Layher Loading Towers and for safety and efficiency and would always provide a proprietary stair tower solution to customers where practically possible.

Manufactured design overcomes complications of the design and construction of conventional tube and fitting towers.

As well as manufacturers instructions, Magnum has a suit of generic designs available to suit most applications including towers set at an angle to the scaffolding and directly to the face of the building.

Haki Loading Towers

HAKI loading towers have been specially designed and developed to preserve the safety of site workers and eliminate the risk of falls from height involving either materials or personnel.

The platform combines a unique safety gate which can only be opened from the main platform, therefore eliminating possible damage through abuse.

Features steel plant decking to eliminate the risk of slips and trips.

Layher Loading Towers

Wider Tower dimensions, up to 4.14m.

Using standard components, towers of various plan sizes can be constructed up to a 20kN/m2 load class.

The Towers are specially designed and developed to preserve the safety of site workers and eliminate the risk of falls from height involving either materials or personnel.

Steel plant decking to eliminate the risk of slips and trips.

Most configurations allow for only four supporting standards, therefore enable very quick to erection, dismantle and repositioning.

Platforms to service multi levels can be built efficiently significantly reding the requirement of beams, lacing, bracing and fittings. 2m lift multi lift towers are possible. 

Adaptable and can be incorporated with any types of scaffold.

Proprietary Beams

Magnum has significant stocks of 450, 780 and Heavy Duty 1.33m depth, Asterix Beams.

The HD beams often reduce the requirement for multiple beams lines and greatly the requirement for support scaffolding and simplify the associated lacing and bracing.

Significant reductions in fitting and labour requirement to build bridge spans are possible.

Reduced complexity of support scaffolding reduces the impact on the construction process for the customer enabling them to access and complete more of their work whilst the bridge is in place.
